Human judgment.
Systems that support it.

I’m Tina. I’m building Zephyr, bringing my experience in healthcare, teaching, and human behavior into the way people work with AI.

01 / Selected project

Zephyr.
From prompt
to product.

It began with an anesthesia learning app. Coordinating separate AI conversations revealed a bigger problem: keeping the work connected. I started drawing the system I wanted to use, then working with AI tools to develop it.

The idea, drawn by hand
Zephyr’s signature meadow: a sunlit world of green hills and blue sky
Bliss: the world of Zephyr

I was moving messages between six AI conversations, repeating context, and asking each tool to check the others. I needed a shared structure for what we were building, who owned each task, and what counted as finished.

02 / Creative direction

Make the idea
felt.

A short Zephyr film exploring the movement from a prompt toward a product. I directed the story, visual consistency, and revisions to communicate what I wanted the system to become.

Concept film with AI-generated material. Presented as creative work; product status is described in the case study above.

03 / How I think

Build the process
around the people.

Clinical work taught me to prepare, communicate, recognize changes, and escalate when needed. I bring those habits into product work—and examine my own assumptions along the way.

01

Understand

Start with the person, the workflow, the constraints, and what a useful outcome means.

02

Make it concrete

Turn the idea into a sketch, clear requirements, task ownership, and a sequence of work.

03

Challenge it

Ask what is observed, what is assumed, what is missing, and who can independently check it.

04

Learn and revise

Use the result to change the next decision. Keep errors and unresolved questions visible.

04 / Experience that shaped the work

Calm under
pressure.
Curious by
nature.

My background combines critical care, teaching, research support, and entrepreneurship. Working across hospitals taught me to adapt to new equipment, policies, teams, and personalities.

05 / Where I want to take this

AI people can
own. Opportunity
people can share.

Personal AI and useful robotics. I want to explore capable smaller models, owner-controlled memory, and tools that make daily life easier. Healthcare has shaped my interest in technology that supports dignity and independence.

A community starting point in Detroit. I have discussed AI safety and energy ideas with Detroit City Council. My proposed next step is discovery with community organizations, businesses, and educators, including potential outreach to TechTown and Wayne State.

Growth with local ownership. I want longtime residents, especially Black Detroiters, to gain skills, earning opportunities, and a stake in what gets built. My wider interests include overlooked robotics talent, solar and river-based energy possibilities, and useful recovery of data-center heat.

These are proposed directions for research and collaboration. Partnerships, engineering feasibility, and program outcomes have not been established.
